Studio Twist has engaged Scott Bodenner, a textile designer with a passion for textile history and technical innovation, to develop this new collection of blankets, bed scarfs, throws, and pillows inspired by the Breezeway, an element of mid-century modern architecture in warm climes that has become a mainstay of architectural design. Reminiscent of airy patio walls that hide high formalism in their relaxing repetition, novel designs like Trapezoid, Faded Stripe, Block Stripe and Wright Square Pillow round out the group.
All are knit with PolyPropylene yarns that are colorfast, inherently FR and machine washable; they will not fade in bright sun and have the durability to withstand outdoor use. Breezeway is rendered in classic grays from the Studio Twist yarn bank — Shadow, Charcoal Melange and Flannel, and in a bright palette, reminiscent of the period that inspires them, using colors like Malachite, Super Lemon, Aquamarine, Blue Grass and Silver.
Breezeway is one of the latest collections from Studio Twist, well-known creator of knits for spa and resort. Studio Twist expertly balances style, luxury and elegance with ease of maintenance to create durable, washable, top-of-bed knitted accessories that are anti-microbial, eco-friendly and a dynamic insulator – ideal in warm or cold climates.
